Bigg Boss winners get a lot of attention, money, and a leg up in their careers. Even though most of the contestants are already well-known in their fields, Bigg Boss can still provide them with new opportunities. A look back at the lives of the Bigg Boss winners from the first 15 seasons, and where they are now.
Original airing: 2007 with Rahul Roy.
The original season of Bigg Boss, hosted by Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi, aired from November 3, 2006, to January 26, 2007. Rahul Roy, a famous Bollywood actor, won the first season, and Carol Gracias came in second. Popular actor-turned-model Rahul Roy now runs his own production company and is a fixture in Hindi Indian film and television.
Season Two (2008) of Ashutosh Kaushik – Ashutosh Kaushik
Ashutosh Kaushik won the second season of Bigg Boss in 2008. Aside from that, he also won MTV’s Hero Honda Roadies 5.0 competition in 2007. Most people recognise Kaushik from his roles in the Bollywood films Zila Ghaziabad and Kismat Love Paisa Dilli, but he has also participated in reality television shows. He was a special guest on MTV Roadies 8.
In the 2009 third season, Vindu Dara Singh
The third season of Bigg Boss was won by Vindu Dara Singh, a well-known actor in Indian film and television. In addition to the cash prize, he also received a Chevrolet Cruze for being the season’s most daring and fashionable contestant. His roommates affectionately referred to him as Bade Dil Wala (Big Heart Man). Vindu Dara Singh has been featured in many popular films and TV shows.
Shweta Tiwari joined the cast in Season 4.
The first woman to compete in Bigg Boss and the show’s fourth champion, Shweta Tiwari is a star of Hindi film and television. She was also the victor in the reality show Comedy Circus Ka Naya Daur. TV soaps like Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Parvarrish, Begusarai, and Mere Dad Ki Dulhan made Shweta a household name. Both Bigg Boss 6 (2012) and Bigg Boss 15 (2022) featured her as a special guest.
Juhi Parmar’s fifth season aired in 2011.
When she played the title character in the Indian soap opera Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan, Juhi Parmar became a household name. In the fifth season of Bigg Boss, she competed and ultimately won, with Mahek Chahal coming in second. Moreover, Parmar was crowned the victor of the reality show Comedy Circus.
Urvashi Dholakia appears in episode six (2012).
Urvashi Dholakia, another famous woman, was crowned the winner of Bigg Boss 6 this year. Her role as Komolika Basu on Kasautii Zindagii Kay has brought her widespread fame. The sixth season of Bigg Boss, which aired from 2012 to 2013, ended with her being crowned the victor. She has also appeared on popular shows like “Nach Baliye 9.” Urvashi has been a guest on Bigg Boss in 2014, 2020, and 2022 for episodes numbered 8 and 13, respectively.
2013’s Season 7: Gauahar Khan
Bigg Boss 7 has crowned Gauahar Khan as its victor. Tanishaa Mukerji finished second in the 2013 season. Bollywood fans will recognise Gauhar from her roles in such films as Rocket Singh, Game, Ishaqzaade, Fever, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, and Begum Jaan. In 2020, she and Hina Khan and Sidharth Shukla participated in the first three weeks of Bigg Boss 14 as toofani seniors.

Episode 8 (2014 Season) – Gautam Gulati
Bigg Boss aired its eighth season in 2014, and the show’s eventual victor was Gautam Gulati. The success of the soap operas Pyaar Kiye Ek Kahaani and Diya Aur Baat Hum are largely responsible for his widespread recognition. Gautam was nominated for Most Fit Male Actor at the Gold Awards and Most Stylish Male in Reality Series at the Indian Television Academy Awards for his work on Bigg Boss 8. The second round went in his favour. He was a Bigg Boss 9 and Bigg Boss 10 guest in 2015 and 2016, respectively.
Episode 9 of the 2015 season introduced Prince Narula.
Prince Narula is a popular reality TV star who also works as an actor and model. He has competed in and won the MTV Roadies 12 competition, as well as the MTV Splitsvilla 8 and Nach Baliye 9 competitions. In 2015, Narula also triumphed on the ninth season of Bigg Boss. He married Yuvika Chaudhary, whom he met on the set of the show in October of last year. He has also guest-starred on Badho Bahu and Naagin 3.
Manveer Gurjar Season 10 premiered in 2016.
Manveer Gurjar and Bani J won Bigg Boss 10, which aired from October 2016 to January 2017. A regular guy was picked as the winner for the first time in the show’s history. Radhe, The Bridge, and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi are just a few of Manveer’s most acclaimed film and TV roles.
Season 11 of Shilpa Shinde (2017) –
Shilpa Shinde, an Indian actress, was crowned the winner of Bigg Boss 11 in 2016. Her role as Angoori Bhabhi in the hit comedy series Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai brought her widespread fame. She competed on Bigg Boss 11 in 2017 and was ultimately declared the victor. She has joined the Indian National Congress and is active in its politics.
Dipika Kakar, Season 12 (2018)
The 12th season of Bigg Boss was won by Dipika Kakar Ibrahim, a famous Indian television actress. Her breakout parts came as Sonakshi in Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum and as Simar in Sasural Simar Ka. She competed on Bigg Boss 12 in 2018 and ultimately won the competition. Previously, in the eleventh season, she had been a guest on the show. Dipika has been seen on Nach Baliye season 8 as well.
Sidharth Shukla will be a main character in Season 13 (2019).
Season 13 of Bigg Boss was Sidharth Shukla’s to win. Sidharth made history in December 2005 when he was named the first Indian and Asian to be named the World’s Best Model. He enjoyed great success in both the small and big screen. He also triumphed in the seventh season of the reality competition show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi. Shukla was voted both the most popular Bigg Boss 13 contestant and the most popular contestant overall in polls conducted by Hindustan Times, India TV News, and The Times of India. He is a senior “Toofani” housemate for the first two weeks of Bigg Boss 14.
Rubina Dilaik, Season 14 (2020)
Rubina Dilaik, who appeared on Bigg Boss 14 with her husband Abhinav Shukla, ultimately emerged victorious. After making her debut as Radhika on the hit show Chotti Bahu in 2008, Rubina quickly became a household name. Her first film as an actress in a Bollywood production will be 2022’s Ardh.
Tejasswi Prakash, Season 15 (2021)
Tejasswi Prakash, an Indian television actress, was crowned the winner of Bigg Boss season 15 recently. Tejasswi has appeared on Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 and is best known for her role as Ragini Maheshwari in the film Swaragini – Jodein Rishton Ke Sur. In 2021, during season 15, she competed and won Bigg Boss. The current season of the hit Colours show Naagin 6 features her as Pratha.
2023 Season 16 MC Stan
The winner of Bigg Boss 16 is MC Stan. In addition to the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and Rs 31,80,000 in cash, he also won. Starting on October 1, 2022, Season 16 of Bigg Boss aired on Colours and ran all the way through February 12, 2023.
